Daniel Henney talks about his Number 1 Fan

In a recent Q&A session, Hollywood actor Daniel Henney answered questions that were sent to him by his fans, this lead him to talk about his number 1 fan Kim So Young.

Kim So Young has touched Daniel's heart by all the support and dedication she has given to him. She attended all his fan meetings, helped decorate the venue and ensured everyone was having a good time. She didn't want recognition for her work and told Daniel's team not to tell Daniel about her efforts.

Sadly, Kim was diagnosed with cancer and she did not want Daniel to feel sad for her; true to her nature she hid this from him. But he always knew of her condition because his team kept him up to date. Kim continued to help out at Daniel's fan meetings. But her health was deteriorating, this prevented her from helping out but she continued attending the his fan meetings with a smile.

Her condition worsened and she was hospitalised. Daniel and his team regularly sent her videos to help keep her spirits up. Last year, she passed away. This news was hard on Daniel.

A week after her death, a cake was sent to Daniel's office. It was from Kim, she had asked a friend to help her organise it. Kim wanted to thank Daniel and his team for everything, for the joy they gave her.

It is clear that Kim has a special place in Daniel's heart.

Movie News – Shanghai Calling

I’ve got some exciting movie news for you guys. Daniel has revealed some details of his new film ‘Shanghai Calling’.

The film has an exciting international cast which includes Eliza Coupe, Bill Paxton, Geng Le, Zhu Zhu & Alan Ruck.

Shanghai Calling is a romcom about American immigrants living in China. The official movie website was launched on November 1st.

I can reveal a bit about the movie’s plot:

Daniel Henney plays an ambitious New York attorney who was sent to Shanghai on assignment. To add some drama to the film, he gets in to a legal mess that could jeopardize his career. His luck changes as he meets people that help him appreciate Shanghai.

Some still shots of the film have been released on the website. No release date of the film has been announced. I will keep you posted.

Twitterverse is expanding with more and more celebs joining! Everyone is catching twitter fever.



Rain had many 'posers' on twitter, I thought 1 of them was the real Rain and I kept twittering to him how much i love him... LOL... and I got a tweet back saying 'I love you too'. I nearly fell over my chair. Sadly that wasn't the real Rain. This is the official Rain twitter @29rain. He use to tweet a lot, in korean (I wish i could understand) then suddenly he deleted all his tweets. Now he doesn't tweet anything!!! But he has all these followers. I found out why he deleted his tweets, he posted photos on his twitter of him and Jun Ji-hyun and it caused quite a stir in the news and amongst netizens. The thing is everyone thinks they are dating but they both deny it. Interesting... Well, I hope Rain starts tweeting again so he can talk to his fans. I still need to convince him to come to Australia.



Another newbie to twitter is the handsome actor Daniel Henney @danielhenney. It was announced previously on CherriiPOP that Daniel is also starring with Rain in the new TV drama 'Fugitive'. Daniel tweets in english, so lucky for me - I can understand it. It's pretty cool that he interacts a lot with his fans; he tweets about his daily life and posts heaps photos up.
