Aussie Vietnamese youth worker named Young Global Leaader
Congrats to Jimmy Pham for being recognised by the World Economic Forum for the charity work. He has been named one of WEF's Young Global leaders for 2011.
Eleven years ago, he founded an organisation in Vietnam which trained disadvantaged young people in cooking skills. His like the aussie version of Jaime Oliver. The organisation is called KOTO which stands for Know One, Teach One. Such a profound name. He has changed many youths lives by giving them hope.

Movie sequels delayed due to Japan disaster
The sequels to blockbuster movies Wolverine and Avator have been put on hold due to the natural disasters in Japan.
Wolverine 2 was mainly set in Japan and Hugh Jackman was ready to reprise his role as the clawed x-man. The movie suffer a hurdle with director Darren Aronofsky pulling out of the production recently. He explained that he didn't want to be away from home for such a long period of time.
James Cameron had planned to go to Japan to film some underwater scenes in the Mariana Trench. Movie bosses have dropped these plans due to fear of aftershocks and costly insurance.

Celebs are Reaching out to Japan
The devastating footage and images of Japan's natural disasters have been affecting the whole world deeply.
Today Oscar Winner Sandra Bullock donated 1 million dollars to Japan. Lady Gaga, Linkin Park have also reached out to the Japanese People. If you would like to help, please donate to the Red Cross.
Here is a tweet from JPOP princess Utada Hikaru (via @utadahikaru)
Wow I just experienced the biggest earthquake of my life. Gas/electricity has stopped in many areas of Japan and some people have died. 6:41 PM Mar 11th via web
I had the opportunity to visit Japan for a holiday last year. The country is so incredible, it was hard not to fall in love with the people and place. Everyone is so kind and polite, I could always walk up to a stranger and ask for directions.
To see the hardship and tragedy Japan is facing now is heartbreaking. Thousands are missing, homeless and grieving. I hope that Japan gets through these dark days soon and find the strength to rebuild.
